Broncos Fight Hard, Wrap Up Play at NJCAA National Championship
The No. 16 ranked New Mexico Military Institute Bronco golf team officially concluded their season on Friday afternoon, wrapping up a grueling four-day run at the 2026 NJCAA National Championship. Competing against the nation’s best at the challenging Sand Creek Station Golf Course, the Broncos finished the tournament in a tie for 17th place overall.

Colts take on T-wolves in quarterfinals
The eighth-seeded NMMI Colts will head to Albuquerque, NM for the quarterfinal round of the New Mexico Activities Association’s Class 3A State Baseball Championships to take on the top-seeded East Mountain Timberwolves, with the first pitch scheduled for 3:30 pm on Thursday, May 13 at Field #3 in the Jennifer Riordan Spark Kindness Sports Complex.

Colts advance to NMAA Championship Quarterfinal with 6-3 win over Tohatchi
On Saturday afternoon, New Mexico Military Institute defeated Tohatchi 6-3 at the NMMI Ballpark, completing the series sweep and earning a spot in the state quarterfinal on Thursday. With the win the Colts improve to 13-15 overall and post a four-game win streak. Tohatchi ends their season with a 17-6 mark.

Hurtado Shines as Colts Topple Tohatchi 8-1 in game one of the first round
On Friday night, behind a commanding performance on the mound from Juan Carlos Hurtado and a relentless approach at the plate, the New Mexico Military Institute Colts secured an 8-1 victory over the Tohatchi Cougars. With the win, the Colts improve to 12-15 overall while Tohatchi moves to 17-5 on the year.

Colt Tennis concludes singles play; Cheng earns a win in the first round
On Wednesday afternoon New Mexico Military Institute competed in the 2026 NMAA State Championships singles competition at Albuquerque Academy in Albuquerque, NM. No. 5 Kevin Cheng, Jose Gonzalez and Pablo Morales were the trio that represented the Colts in the singles competition.
