Right from the get go the Colts came out on fire. Wagner Ferreira Morato Cunha continued his great scoring form as he opened the scoring for NMMI in the first minutes of the game. Using the early goal, the Colts found another goal within the first 10 minutes as Daniel Dosamantes Urbina found Ruben Meraz Valdez from a corner kick, who headed the ball into the goal to give the home side a 2-0 lead.

Ten minutes later, the Colts scored another header. This time, Wagner Ferreira Morato Cunha finished a cross by Vinicius Marquez Diaz to go ahead by three. Grantland Grant got his name on the score sheet as he dribbled past the Socorro backline and slotted a ball into the bottom corner.

Near the end of the first half, Iker Gonzalez picked out Nicolas Camou who was running through the defense to score the fifth goal of the half for NMMI.

In the second half the Colts didn’t score as many goals but the theme was the same. NMMI controlled a majority of possession as Socorro forced zero saves by an NMMI keeper. Just eight minutes into the second half, Wagner Ferreira Morato Cunha completed his hat trick with a rip from just outside the 18-yard box to put NMMI ahead 6-0.

Near the 60-minute mark, Wagner Ferreira Morato Cunha tallied his fourth goal of the afternoon with another shot from distance to secure the 7-0 win for the Colts.
