RE: GAC reopening to the public

To all:

We are pleased to announce the reopening of the Godfrey Athletic Center to the public. Due to COVID-19, we will be operating at limited capacity in compliance with the statutes and guidelines set down by the governor of New Mexico. Our hours of operation are as follows:

Monday - Friday

6:00am - 8:00am

11:30am - 1:30pm

5:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday-Sunday

10:00am – 5:00pm

As of right now, only the weight room and racquetball courts will be open for use. Basketball courts and the swimming pool are closed to the public until further notice. Use of both the weight room and racquetball courts will be in 1-hour time slots during hours of operation that must be reserved ahead of time. Members will be able to call and sign up for time slots a week ahead of time. Reservations for time slots will close 1 hour prior to the scheduled time slot. Members cannot sign up for consecutive time slots. However, if the timeslot following the one they originally signed up for is not full, they may stay if they want to work-out longer. Upon arrival to the GAC, you must abide by the following:

• Members are required to be wearing a face mask upon arrival. You will not be allowed entry if you are not wearing a face mask. However wearing a facemask during your workout is optional.
• Members will be subject to a health screening upon arrival. Any member who has a temperature of at least 100.4 degrees, or an Ox level below 90 will be asked to leave.
• Use of the locker rooms are permitted, however permanent lockers and use of showers is not permitted.
• Members must bring their own equipment for racquetball, the GAC will not be issuing equipment rentals until further notice.
• Only two people per racquetball court will be permitted, groups of 4 will not be allowed in the court at once.
• Members will be required to clean all equipment they use after each use.
