Assistant coach Grant Soffer earned his undergraduate degree in Sports Management in 2016 from St. John's University, and is set to complete his Masters's in Business Administration in the Spring of 2019 from Western New Mexico University.
Coach Soffer has a plethora of coaching and training experience, starting with his 2013 service as the student manager for the Drexel University men's basketball team. He's worked overseas as an intern for the Pallacanestro Virtus Roma basketball team (Sept. 2013 - Apr. 2014); was a team attendant for the Brooklyn Nets (Sept. 2014 - Apr. 2016); interned for the NBA Summer League (July 2015); interned for the New York Rens AAU team (Nov. 2015 - Apr. 2016); and was graduate assistant coach for the WNMU men's basketball team (Apr. 2016 - May 2017).
He's also still involved with several organizations dedicated to developing, promoting and recruiting youth to college level basketball talent: as a consultant for the Milwaukee-based firm Complete Player Curriculum; assistant coach for the Believe Sports Academy in Athens, Tennessee; and, most recently, creating his own training program geared towards preparing and executing player specific workouts for youth basketball clients.
